Today we take you on a tour of the 3 snowparks in Grandvalira, so that you can carefully prepare for your trip to the snow.Â
Â
Henrik Harlaut Sunset Park
This is the only park that opens at night and the one located closest to the flats. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 3pm to 9pm, so if you’re in the mood for freestyle, you can ski for up to 12 hours a day, if you combine it with the rest of Grandvalira’s snowparks. Or if you prefer, you can ski during the day and practice jumps and pirouettes in the evening when the rest of the slopes are closed.Â
The park is located in the Peretol sector of Bordes d’Envalira, very close to the flats. It has a Street area with its own ski lift, jibing lines and kikers and is a meeting point for international riders (it is advisable to have a good level to enjoy it to the maximum).
It is easily accessible by road and has a car park.
Â
Xavi’s Sunrise Park
Of the 3 snowparks in Grandvalira, this one is suitable for skiers or snowboarders who want to start out. It is located in the Grau Roig sector, also close to the flats, and is open every day from 9 am to 4 pm. All its facilities are adapted for beginners and intermediate level, including kikers, table tops, jibbling modules with rails and boxes. If you want to start or continue progressing in the world of freestyle, this is the snowpark for you. You can get there by road, just 5 minutes from Els Llacs flats or by slopes from Peretol.Â
Â
Snowpark El Tarter
This is the setting for major freestyle sports competitions such as the Grandvalira Total Fight, where the best riders in the world compete in the snowboard and freeski categories. It also hosts camps and amateur events.
It has been extended and now has a length of 1.3 kilometres. Here you will find long runs with modules and different areas for beginners, progressing and for the more experienced.
It is located in the El Tarter sector, 15 minutes by car from the flats and has good access by road or by slopes thanks to the fact that all the Grandvalira sectors are connected.Â
Â
Lessons to improve your jumps in Grandvalira’s snowparks
The resort offers different types of courses from different points to begin or improve your snowboarding and freeskiing skills with qualified professionals.
At the Snowpark El Tarter there is a freestyle centre offering camps for all levels to learn individually and personally or in small groups. At the Sunrise Xavi snowpark you can also book 100% personalised private lessons to learn how to do acrobatics and tricks in the snow.

Holiday flats at the foot of the slopes
The location of Els Llacs Mountain Apartments, in Bordes de Envalira, is ideal for enjoying Grandvalira’s snowparks and, above all, the only one that opens until 9 pm, which is right in front of it. The accommodation has everything you need for your snow holidays. It offers free ski lockers with camera surveillance and a transfer to the slopes. And if you need anything for your equipment, you can buy or rent it at the Viladomat Signature shop in our hotel Park Piolets in Soldeu. The best thing: when you come back from spending the whole day in the snow you can recharge your batteries in the spa (which is also free).
Els Llacs are ideal for a stay in Andorra as a couple or with friends, as we have flats where you can stay up to 11 people comfortably. They are spacious, with large wardrobes so you can comfortably store all your ski clothes, and a kitchen equipped with all the utensils and appliances you may need on your holidays in Andorra.
