Even if you haven’t been in the snow this season, there’s no doubt that the latest snowfall in mid-January is an invitation to consider a skiing break. Whether you’re an experienced skier and you want to improve your skills, or you’ve decided to learn to ski, Grandvalira offers different types of skiing and snowboarding courses and classes for all levels and ages. Â
Discover the different options in this article and make the most of your snow getaway.Â
Group classes to learn to skiÂ
In Grandvalira you’ll find group classes to get you started in skiing, snowboarding or freeriding, or to improve your technique. Classes are divided into levels and are taught in up to 6 different languages, with a maximum of 12 people. Grandvalira has a large ski school with more than 600 professionals to learn to ski. If you have never been on a board before, it is important that you learn with an instructor who will help you get started, teach you the technique and the necessary routines to apply from the beginning. Â
Individual courses to learn to skiÂ
If you prefer a more personalised experience, you can opt for private lessons for you and your companions (maximum 6 people). Ideally, you should all be of the same level to make the most of the course. The instructor will adapt exclusively to your level and you will be able to acquire the knowledge more quickly. You can book individual lessons whether you are a beginner or want to improve your level in skiing, snowboarding and freeriding.Â
Top Class to improve your skiing level
This modality is ideal for progressing as you will have an expert instructor at your disposal for 6 hours at a time who, as well as helping you to perfect your skiing, will take you to discover all the secrets of the ski resort. The service also offers correction videos and provides you with a VIP room and pick-up from your accommodation.
Ski programmes for the little ones
If you want to introduce the little ones to your favourite sport, the Grandvalira ski school offers several options so that they can have fun while they learn. To learn to ski, it offers themed circuits, courses and snow gardens. Children are grouped by levels and also by age groups. The youngest children, from 1 to 3 years old, also have their own space in the nursery where they will stay in an indoor area run by specialised resort staff. Â
Els Llacs + Grandvalira = super ski breakÂ
