The last days of snow in Grandvalira arrive with slopes in excellent condition and the opportunity to make the most of the season until the very last day.<br>From Els Llacs Mountain Apartments, we share some ideas to make the most of this holiday break in the mountains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Easter with fresh snow and longer days<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The late March snowfall arrived at just the right time and has improved slope conditions for Easter, with powder-spring snow conditions. It has left a good accumulation, and it shows in the way you ski. The last days of snow in Grandvalira come with slopes in good condition across most sectors.<br><strong>In the morning, the snow is firmer and better for skiing<\/strong>. From midday onwards, it becomes softer but still comfortable for continued runs. In addition, temperatures are milder than in winter, allowing for longer days on the slopes. A season finale with great skiing conditions and without the cold of the harshest months!<br>More good news: <strong>Ordino-Arcal\u00eds is extending the season until April 12<\/strong>, while the rest of the Grandvalira Resorts sectors will close on April 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Alternative snow activities beyond skiing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Although skiing remains central, it is not the only option. Take advantage of the Easter break to try other activities that, with fresh snow, become even more appealing.<br><strong>Snowshoeing routes<\/strong> allow access to quieter areas, away from the movement of the slopes. <strong>Mushing <\/strong>(dog sledding) becomes more attractive with fresh snow, as the route is more comfortable and stable.
